Under the honest leadership of President David Granger, more girls from across Guyana are studying Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), preparing them to secure modern jobs.

The government’s #GyGirlPower campaign is promoting STEM for girls in Guyana by highlighting the various job opportunities available in STEM-related fields. Further, the campaign also highlights women role models already working in STEM, emphasising to young women the variety of opportunities they can pursue.

“Your government is placing emphasis on the teaching of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). The National Endowment for Science and Technology (NEST) was launched to support in the teaching of science and technology in our schools,” President Granger has said.

This is the first step. There is more to do and we need your support to continue the progress. Together, let’s keep Guyana moving forward.
