Minister of Education Nicolette Henry this afternoon told News Source that Hudson’s leave will begin in early 2020. She dismissed reports on social media that the Chief Education Officer had been fired.

“He is still on the job and will remain on the job until he proceeds on leave and that will be early in the New Year”, Ms. Henry said.

President David Granger has been pressing his Ministers and Permanent Secretaries to ensure that officials who are owed leave proceed on leave.
