Police are probing the circumstances surrounding the death of a man whose body washed ashore the Windsor Forest Seawall, West Coast Demerara on Tuesday afternoon.

The man identified as ‘Moti’ of Fourth Street, Windsor Forest.


A relative who prefers to remain anonymous told the News Room that Moti left home to dispose of items following a Hindu religious function when he fell overboard.

The News Room understands Moti was a pensioner and a father of two children.
